Impact Project is about people — and meaningful work moves through the relationships behind it.
Today, we are grateful for the opportunity to connect with Doug McDurham, President of a Family Medicine Foundation in Texas. Before his current role, Doug served as Director of Strategic Advancement at Hunger Free Oklahoma, bringing experience in community health, strategic advancement, and hunger-relief initiatives.
His professional journey reflects the importance of collaboration when addressing challenges that affect people's health and access to essential resources.
At Impact Project, we are building toward healthier, better-fed university campuses, with a particular focus on students who face food insecurity and challenges accessing basic needs.
As we look toward launching our program in Nigeria, we hope that students across universities will experience meaningful relief and have access to practical support when they need it most.
We also envision a future where students are less dependent on government and political intervention for meeting basic needs. By strengthening community partnerships and creating sustainable support systems, we believe universities and their surrounding communities can play a greater role in helping students thrive.
The work ahead will require collaboration, trust, and relationships with people who share a commitment to improving student well-being.
We are grateful to Doug McDurham for being part of this growing network and look forward to the conversations, partnerships, and opportunities that lie ahead.
One relationship at a time. One student at a time. This is how we build impact.
